Standard Business Conditions

§1 Order acceptance

All orders are only accepted and proceeded with following written confirmation of the quote. Delivery dates and quotes shall therefore be agreed on and confirmed in advance. A confirmation on a quote is binding.

§ 2 Liability – Complaints

Complaints of imprecision and inaccuracy must be made within 10 days of the order being completed. Upon expiry of this term the translation is understood as accepted in the full extent. Liability is only accepted for the delivered order. Any modifications or requested adjustments to the translation have to be agreed to in consultation with MJ-Translations. There is strictly no right to modify, add or remove parts of the delivered translation without mutual agreement. The intellectual property right applies.

No liability is expressly assumed for any loss of files or damage of any sort incurred on the electronic data transfer.

§3 Delivery – Delivery time

Deliveries will usually be by email or mail if so requested. The customer bears the delivery fees in the case of a mail service.
No responsibility is accepted for delays in service delivery as a result of mail dispatches or technical difficulties (network interference, breakdown etc).
MJ-Translations is committed to observing professional confidentiality, however absolute protection of any confidential information sent via electronic data transfer or other dispatches cannot be guaranteed.

§4 Pricing – Means of payment

Invoices are to be paid within 30 days to the date of invoice by bank transfer. The prices exclud goods and services tax (GST). Payments can be made in Australian Dollars (AUD), Swiss Francs (CHF) or Euros (EUR). In cases of high invoiced amounts or in other specific cases a pre-payment may be required.
The client accepts these SBC by placing any order.
